We are absolutely thrilled to announce that Passel Estate is one of The Real Review Top Wineries of Australia 2026!

The highly respected wine critics at The Real Review blind taste around 10,000 wines each year to compile their lists. The Real Review Top Wineries Certificate is awarded to a select group of wineries that consistently produce excellent wine.
Passel Estate’s inclusion in the Top Wineries of Australia 2026 places us among the top echelon of winemakers in the country and we could not be more honoured.
Here are some of the most recent outstanding reviews our wines have received from Huon Hooke and Stuart Knox for the Real Review:
Passel Estate 2023 Sauvignon Blanc – GOLD ribbon, 95 Points
“Very pale, almost water-white appearance; the bouquet is reserved and shy, with a lack of varietal fruit but instead a green/straw, raw almond and faintly petroleum-like aroma. In the mouth it’s delicate, restrained and dry, with appetising crispness and aridity, and while very reserved it does have intense flavour, focused and precise, appetising at the finish. Stylish wine. Later, after extended time in the glass, a transformation: the wine developed richness and complexity, some barrel derived notes alongside passionfruit varietal fruit, with serious appeal. A stand-out.”
Passel Estate 2018 Lot 71 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon – GOLD ribbon, 95 Points
“Deep colour still with some purple as well as brick tints; there are humus and seaweed, tobacco and dried herb aromas, tertiary notes starting to creep in, while the palate is full bodied and savoury with wood oil and briary, nori touches, the tannins fine, powdery and drying on the finish. Smart cabernet, ageing well.”
Passel Estate 2023 Chardonnay – SILVER ribbon, 91 Points
“Pale lemon. Ripe nectarine and bacon fat aromas. Nectarine and lemon balm on entry, lime leaf and roast hazelnut adding savoury detail. Long and lifted by fine acidity, finishing fresh.”
Passel Estate 2022 Syrah – SILVER ribbon, 92 Points
“Full ruby colour, bright in the glass. Mulberry, river stone and nori aromas. Full and weighty with dark fruit core, iodine and wakame notes and granite minerality. Great length driven by stony tannins, finishing dry.”
