Introducing our 2021 Passel Estate Chardonnay

We are delighted to announce the much-anticipated release of our 2021 Passel Estate Chardonnay.

A classic expression of Margaret River Chardonnay, fragrant and floral, perfectly balanced with a subtle creamy finish, this beautiful wine has already received a GOLD medal in the Royal Melbourne Wine Awards, where the judges praised its “elegance” and “great depth of fruit and length“.

More recently, Ray Jordan, in the West Australian Wine Review 2024 awarded this stunning wine 94 points with this glowing review:

“Impressive young chardonnay from this ideal cooler vintage. Aromas of peach and spices with a little grapefruit. The palate is neatly crafted with the light flavoursome fruit supplemented with the fine-grained oak. Has a creamy lemon curd palate with a little almond meal richness. An excellent chardonnay offering plenty.”

Our own tasting notes find notes of white pear, jasmine and hints of freshly zested limes and cinnamon on the nose. The palate enters focused and elegant, a pure core of white fruits wrapped in viscous textures of nectarines and brioche, driven by a bristling natural acidity to a finish laced with crushed granite and lemon grass. Persistent, pure and textured.
