Passel Estate’s 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon is now available, in perfect time for pairing with winter roasts by the fire.
This beautiful wine has already received a host of medals from the international wine competitions including most recently a fantastic 94 points and a silver medal from the International Wine Challenge 2024.
In awarding this beautiful wine another Silver medal in the International Wine & Spirits Competition 2023, the esteemed judges provided these tasting notes:
“Savoury aromas of truffle and saline atop fresh berry notes with rich flavours of blueberry, bramble, and graphite. Focused and elegant with a long, concentrated finish.”
Made from a single old-vine block of Houghton clone fruit with no varietal blending, ours is a pure expression of a Margaret River Cabernet Sauvignon; the region’s flagship varietal.
Owner, Barry Stimpson, will be serving this plush and expressive wine with a succulent Margaret River roast rib of beef, duck fat roast potatoes and traditional yorkshire pudding in a nod to Wendy’s English roots!
