Having a ‘Wine Blast’ at Passel Estate!

Owner, Wendy Stimpson, had great fun introducing Passel Estate to Peter Richards MW – one half of the married Masters of Wine duo behind the UK’s award-winning podcast, Wine Blast – when he visited Margaret River in the Spring.

Wendy led Peter on a guided walk through our vineyard and nature sanctuary, to showcase the conservation work at the estate and bring to life the story behind Passel Estate and the passel of critically endangered western ringtail possum that inspired our label.  While recording for his podcast the bushland sounds of native birdlife, including black cockatoos and parrots, Peter was delighted by a visit from a raucous pair of laughing Kookaburra.

Back at the Tasting Room, Wendy took Peter through a tasting of Passel Estate’s full range of single-vineyard wines to complete his experience.
