Once again, we are inviting friends and volunteers to save the date on Tuesday 26th May 2026, from 10.00am to 1.00pm, to lend your support to creating the best environment for our local fauna, by helping to plant 100s of tube stocks of a variety of native plants beneficial to our native wildlife. Your efforts will be rewarded with a light lunch at the Tasting Room, which you may wish to enjoy with a complimentary glass of Passel Estate wine.
The hard work by our staff and volunteers has proved to be hugely valuable, with many of the plantings from previous years now well established and providing sanctuary and nourishment to our family of Western Ringtail Possums and other endangered native species that live on the estate.
There continues to be a great deal of work to do to fully rehabilitate the creek line, protect the understory flora and strengthen the natural bushland habitat, to enhance the conservation ecosystem and support a rich biodiversity on the property.
Volunteers are requested to register before Friday 22nd May 2026, by emailing tastingroom@passelestate.com or calling +618 9717 6241. Numbers are strictly limited to ensure a safe and enjoyable morning for everybody.
Please wear protective shoes and appropriate clothing for the bush and be prepared for wet weather on the day. Gloves and trowels will be provided, but you are welcome to bring your own favourites if you prefer, and please remember to bring your own water bottle.
