Passel Estate’s Sauvignon Blanc has been attracting a lot of critical attention recently for its fragrant, intense fruits and zesty edge, with subtle French oak adding complexity. The current 2018 vintage was declared one of WineState Magazine’s “Best Wines of 2020” in their recent Wine of the Year Special Edition.
Our valued Wine Club members are warmly invited to bring a guest and join owner, Barry Stimpson, in an exclusive vertical tasting of this stunning varietal wine. A light selection of brunch pastries and bonbons will be served alongside, all in the gorgeous summer surrounds of our tasting room.
Barry will guide guests through the evolution of this aromatic and textured wine as you taste 3 consecutive vintages, including a rare museum release and an exclusive first taste of the 2019 vintage prior to its release later this year.

2019 Passel Estate Sauvignon Blanc
94 Points, Halliday Wine Companion 2021
“The nose has a really attractive corporeal funk to it – reminiscent of skin after an ocean swim. The palate is delicate and fine, the oaked component providing a plush bed of texture on which the delicate fruit lingers. Complex layers of texture elevate this to serious.”
2018 Passel Estate Sauvignon Blanc
94 Points, Ray Jordan’s West Australian Wine Guide 2021:
“A savvy that’s got the added complexity of French oak influence. It’s a cracking good example of the style with powerful stone fruit, lemon scents and a hint of gunflint, providing an engaging opening on the nose. The palate combines fruit intensity with a racy complex intensity. Subtle, smoky characters play a background role.”
2017 Passel Estate Sauvignon Blanc
95 Points, Halliday Wine Companion 2019
“This is a sauvignon blanc that makes you reach for the bottle to pour yourself another glass (or so). It is intense and racy, but relies on fruit, not just acidity to provide its energy. Each taste reveals more, with white fruits, sugar snap peas and lemon.”
