Celebrating the release of our award-winning 2019 Shiraz in time for Christmas!

As we commence the countdown to Christmas, we celebrate the release of our opulent new 2019 Shiraz!

This aromatic wine’s sterling reputation precedes its arrival to our Tasting Room, with a pre-release SILVER medal from the prestigious 2022 Royal Melbourne Wine Awards.

With fragrances of black berries, dark chocolate and aniseed gently lifted by hints of cherry blossom, white pepper and allspice, this gentle, yet flavoursome Shiraz features flavours of black cherries, black plums, dark chocolate and a hint of white pepper, laced with liquorice, spiced meats and graphite.

If you’re in the process of preparing your Christmas menu, we highly recommend serving our elegant new Shiraz with traditional roast beef. Our Festive Reds special wine hamper includes three bottles of our newly released Shiraz and three bottles of our highly award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon for seasonal celebrations and gifting.

You may choose to explore our bushland wildlife sanctuary and taste our 2019 Shiraz alongside the very vines it came from on our Nature and Wine Walk, or perhaps you’d prefer to sit down in our Tasting Room to sample them with complementary artisanal cheeses or custom-made chocolate bon bons?

Our Wine and Food Pairing Experience showcases each of our award-winning wines with meticulously designed bon bons by Margaret River’s premier chocolatier.

Nadia Haskell of Harlequin Dessert reviews and modifies each bon bon for this experience whenever we release a new vintage of the accompanying wine, to ensure the flavours continue to pair perfectly.  In preparation for the release of our 2019 Shiraz, Nadia has crafted a decadent new dark chocolate bon bon featuring flavours of sumac, black tea, pink peppercorns, cardamom and caramel.

Alternatively, you may wish to taste our wines alongside a curated selection of complementary locally sourced cheeses or relax in the sunshine with a glass of Passel Estate wine paired with a cheese and charcuterie platter.
